I consider myself a "lifestyle" photographer, which mostly means poses aren't the most important part of our session. I'll definitely help guide you (where to stand, what to do with your hands, etc) but a lot of what I'll try to capture is your interactions with one another as a family. We will walk and play and time will go much faster than you realize!
Each session is usually anywhere from a half hour to 90 min + depending on which session you choose. Each one includes all the best edits from your session. Its hard to limit the exact number, especially as I love the "in between" shots almost more that the portraits!
Using Pixieset, your album will be delivered in an online gallery where you will be given a link and password to download/share/print as you like!
I usually say to stay true to you! Don't wear anything you'll hate later. On that note, keep in mind trends, I usually advise to shy away from neon colors, loud prints or graphics and please don't feel that everyone should match exactly. Pinterest or Instagram are GREAT references for getting ideas and of course you can reach out to me anytime for help!
This is where it gets fun, we have tons of options! I do tend to love outdoor sessions so there are so many choices! Parks, family land, a downtown city you love, your favorite fishing spot, even your back yard! I can help brainstorm to come up with what you want your photos to look like. I also love in-home sessions, snuggling on the couch, baking cookies, playing with toys in kids rooms all make beautiful images that capture your current life! Some people ask if I travel, and that is a huge YES! I love sessions in Savannah, Atlanta, Indian Springs, Columbus, or anywhere you may have in mind! There may be a small travel fee, but I'm always excited to go somewhere new!
I personally hand edit each photo that you will receive, so this process can take a lot of time. I ask that my lifestyle sessions plan a three week turnaround window so they can plan accordingly. I ask my weddings to give me an 8-12 week window depending on peak (September- December, March-May) or non-peak (January-February, June-August) seasons.
